Fr. Enan Zelinski
Parochial Vicar
Fr. Enan Zelinski began as Parochial Vicar at St. Maria Goretti on July 17, 2021. He was ordained to the priesthood on June 26, 2020, by Bishop Donald Hying at St. Maria Goretti.
Fr. Enan is originally from Ixonia, Wisconsin, and is one of seven children. He was home schooled until he graduated high school and then spent two years at the University of St. Thomas studying Electrical Engineering before hearing the call to the priesthood during his sophomore year. While in seminary, Fr. Enan earned a bachelor's degree from Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey. He then attended the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome where he earned a Bachelor's in Sacred Theology before completing a License in Sacred Theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome.
During his years in seminary, Fr. Enan had many different pastoral assignments. He served on the Core Team for the Love Begins Here apostolate, made hospital and home visits, assisted at summer bible school camps, and taught both First Communion and Confirmation preparation classes.
Growing up, Fr. Enan played both violin and trumpet, which he stills enjoys doing in his free time. He also participates in the occasional pick-up basketball or frisbee game. His other favorite activities include cooking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
