Catechist & Volunteer Opportunities
Is God Calling You to be a Catechist?
Men and women of all ages – from older teens to retirees – are needed to serve in our Religious Education and Youth Ministry programs in a variety of ways. Being involved in the faith formation process allows you to deepen your own faith, meet new people, and build our parish community. We will provide you will all of the resources you need to teach and lead the children and youth in our program. Please see volunteer job descriptions in the form below.
Ways to Serve
- Catechist or Catechist Assistant for Sunday School with 3 to 5-year-olds on Sunday mornings in October to March from 9 to 10 a.m.
- Catechist or Catechist Assistant for First through Fifth-Grade Religious Education classes on Mondays from October to April from either 4 to 5:15 p.m. or 6 to 7:15 p.m.
- Small Group Leader for Middle School Religious Education on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8 p.m. from October to May.
- Small Group Leader for Confirmation on Sundays from September to May either from 10:30 a.m.to Noon or 6:30 to 8 p.m..

VIRTUS & Volunteer Training
