Transgenderism, Sexual Identity, and the Human Person

The Christian Call in relationship to modern ideas

Wednesday, May 10, 2023
5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

The widespread presence of gender and sexual identity discussions is not something that Catholics and Christians can simply ignore. But, how do we approach these topics well? What are the ideas behind these definitions of the human person? How much can we accept, and what must we reject with regard to sexual identities? And, perhaps most importantly, how do we continue to proclaim that Christ died for all and desires that all be saved without compromising the integrity of the Catholic faith and Catholic morality?

In his studies, Fr. Enan earned a degree in Dogmatic Theology with an emphasis on Theological Anthropology (the theological study of the human person), and he will speak on how the Church understands the human person, and how we are to live the Christian call in truth and charity in relationship to those who identify themselves by the various different sexual identities of today.

Join us on Wednesday, May 10, at 5:30 p.m. for a talk that will address all of these questions and more. Programming will be available for younger children as well. Please bring a snack or drink to share!
