Luke House Meal

Luke House Community Meal

Donate Food or Donate Time on the Second Thursday of the Month

10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Luke House, 310 S. Ingersoll Street, Madison

On the second Thursday of the month, St. Maria Goretti provides, prepares, and serves the meal at Luke House, located at 310 S. Ingersoll Street, Madison. Luke House is a Community Meal Program serving the hungry with the help of faith communities. Luke House serves free meals nine times a week. Volunteers from area churches provide, prepare and serve the meals on various days. Those who come to rely on The Community Meal Program do so for many reasons – most of them having to do with some dimension of poverty.

There are two ways to help:

  • Help serve at Luke House, 310 S. Ingersoll St, Madison, on the second Thursday of the month. Help with the dining room and food set up, serving the meal, and cleaning up. Volunteer from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., or for just a segment of the time. The meal is served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • Donate food. Donate and prepare the food for the meal (specific menu information will be provided). Donated food can be dropped off at SMG on the Wednesday evening before the meal from 6:30 p.m. to 7:55 p.m., or on the second Thursday morning of the month from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
