Celebration for Sr. Denise
Celebration for Sr. Denise’s 50th Jubilee
Sunday, June 20, 2021
Following the 9 a.m. Mass
Sr. Denise Herrmann has been working behind the scenes at SMG coordinating our liturgies for the past 23 years and counting. She is present at our church nearly every day of the week. She is instrumental in planning funerals, weddings, and baptisms, as well as providing catechesis for adults preparing for their initiation sacraments. Sr. Denise has been an emotional and spiritual support to parishioners in their times of both joy and sorrow.
Join us for this special celebration honoring Sr. Denise and her 50 years of religious life with the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Agnes in Fond du Lac. She will be recognized on Sunday, June 20, during the 9 a.m. Mass, followed by a reception in the Parish Hall.
Those who wish to greet Sr. Denise are asked to exit the main church doors and queue from a point in the SMG Garden. She will be outdoors due to safety. Please maintain social distancing for the comfort of all. Then you may proceed into the Parish Hall for refreshments.
Support Sr. Denise's Community
As a recognition of this occasion and of all that Sr. Denise has done and continues to do for our faith community, you may wish to join us in supporting Sr. Denise’s religious community, the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Agnes, in their work. Donations can be made online.
If you wish to designate your gift to Sr. Denise's concerns, you could select "Nicaragua ministries" or "Greatest Need" on the donation page. These concerns relate to providing education, healthcare, and support in the aftermath of earthquakes and hurricanes.
