Strengthening Catholic Families: 9-Part Series

September 2019 - May 2020
6:30 p.m.
School Gym

We invite all school and parish families to reinforce their skills as Catholic parents. The success of St. Maria Goretti is based on the success of our families. We find it very important to support our families with resources that build family bonds and strengthen the tools parents need in an ever-challenging world.

In every family as time passes, new dynamics are encountered every year. For the spouses, the new dynamics arrive through a maturing relationship or change in employment. For the children, the new dynamics develop through a change in school environment or going from childhood to adolescence. We all can use support in these times.

Justin Bangert, MS, LMFT is a Catholic Marriage and Family Therapist who, for more than eight years, has been professionally devoted to promoting healthy marriages, families, and communities from a Christian counseling perspective. Monthly, from September through May, he will be presenting on various aspects of Catholic parenting. Topics will include faith, communication, social media usage, integral sexual development, and more.

Justin’s presentations will certainly help parents to strengthen their family identity rooted in the love of God.
