* Uniform clothing should be purchased from Lands' End, or GorettiWear or Uniform Resale available in the school office. Please look at information from each vendor to select from the styles approved for our dress code.

* We encourage families to plan ahead and use scrip to purchase uniforms. This helps in two ways: the school will receive 11% of each purchase and each family can receive a tuition credit based on the amount of scrip that is purchased.

* If you have questions or if purchasing uniforms will be cost prohibitive for your family, please feel free to contact the school office (608-271-7551)

Uniform policy regulations are on Pages 13-14 of the Family Handbook.

SMG shirts/sweatshirts/fleece are available for purchase in the school office.

Saint Maria Goretti Parish is the sponsoring organization for both Boy Scout Troop 102 and Cub Scout Pack 102. Troop 102 is a year-round program for boys 11 through 17. Pack 102 includes boys in the first through fifth grades. The purpose of both programs is to provide educational experiences to build character, develop a sense of citizenship and promote physical fitness.

There is a rich history of scouting at Saint Maria Goretti. Troop 102 first began in 1969. Since that time, hundreds of boys have taken part in the troop and 94 boys have achieved the highest honor of Eagle Scout. Their names are listed in a framed display board in the SMG School cafeteria.

Scouting activities include camping, hiking, swimming, biking, boating, climbing, service activities and weekly meetings. Boys are invited to join the troop or den at any time during the year. Please contact the appropriate adult leader below.

St. Maria Goretti is accredited by the Wisconsin Religious and Independent Schools Accreditation (WRISA) organization. Every seven years the school conducts a self-study based on the standards set by WRISA. After the Self-Study is complete, a Visiting Team of educators come to the school to confirm the findings of the Self-Study and make any additional suggestions. The information from the Self-Study is used to develop a Long Range Plan for the School. The Long Range Plan is reviewed and updated annually by St. Maria Goretti School and by WRISA.
