Opportunities for Youth
Early Childhood for ages 3-5: Scripture-based learning hour prepares children for participation in the Sunday parish assembly; held during the 9:00am Mass October through April.
Grades 1-8 Classes: Age-appropriate catechesis helps youth understand and accept Jesus' call to a life of love lived within the faith community. Classes meet mid-September through April
Grades 1-5 meet Mondays, 4:00-5:15pm and 6:00-7:15pm
Grades 6-8 meet Wednesday evenings 6:30-8:30pm
Youth Ministry for Middle School: Retreat and social opportunities for youth in grades 6-8 are offered throughout the year.
Youth Ministry for Senior High: Sr. High meets twice per month on Sundays from 6:30-8:30 p.m. This is primarily a Confirmation preparation program for students in 9th and 10th grade, with Confirmation celebrated in the Spring of student's Sophomore year. Students in Grades 11-12 who have been confirmed are invited to special sessions throughout the year to continue faith development and share in social opportunities.
