I have been a parish member since 1994. Four of my five children are graduates of St. Maria Goretti School. I was hired as a part-time employee in the school office in Fall 1997 then became a full time Secretary in Fall 2000. In Fall of 2005 my position became a split allowing me to work as both a school secretary and as a Program Assistant for the Youth Ministry Program.
Although my education and prior work experience were all in the medical field, I truly love my job and feel it is a great fit for me. The opportunity to meet and work with a wonderful group of volunteers, parents and most especially the amazing youth of our parish have been an incredible blessing for me.

"My family and I moved here from Oak Park, Ill., (near Chicago) in 1990; prior to that, we would spend a week every summer vacationing in Wisconsin, so we were delighted that a new job for Paul, my husband, brought us to Madison. Paul and I have two sons, both of whom are grown and married. David and Christine live in San Francisco, PJ and Jennie live in Berwyn (near Chicago) and had a son, Max, in 2005. I have taught preschool for 26 years. Mothering PJ and David was a valuable practicum, but I also earned a formal Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education (Concordia University, River Forest, IL). I am very happy to be the Preschool Aide and be a part of the excitement of a child's earliest school experience."

I am a Middleton High School graduate but currently live in Sun Prairie. After graduation, I went to UW-Madison where I majored in Italian Language while also enjoying my studies of French and Art History. I continued my education at the University of South Dakota where I obtained my certificate to teach Art. I then moved around a bit and became a stay at home mom to my son. When he started school, I started volunteering, which led to substitute teaching, which led to wanting my own kids to teach art to. I came here after Mrs. Russo, my former elementary art teacher in Middleton, contacted my sister, who had worked with Mrs. Russo at Kromery Middle school in Middleton and who then contacted me. I have been here since December of 2006 and love it here. I can’t think of anything more fun than creating art with your children! Thanks for having me.
