Please Consider Sharing Your Faith

Our programs are planned by professional educators and staffed by parish volunteers. Because we know our teachers are volunteers, both our Early Childhood and Elementary programs have been developed expressly to give our catechists everything they need to successfully teach weekly lessons. Teachers receive pre-planned lessons, craft materials, activities, games, and additional material for each week to make teaching the concepts interesting and fun. Lesson plans are appropriate for each specific grade level and provide teachers with choices, so they can teach each concept in the style they are most comfortable with. The Religious Education staff will provide you will all of the support you need—all you have to bring is your faith and your love of children.

Diocesan Safe Environment Program

The Diocese of Madison requires that each volunteer participate in the Diocesan Safe Environment program and attend a Virtus class, which consists of watching a video and participating in a discussion. The 2-3 hour classes are offered during the day and evenings throughout the year. Virtus certification is lifelong and transferable to other parishes and Dioceses.
